I'm Baaaaaaack!

I know, I know.... Been too long. Hell, football's here! On the Texas side of the border, they started their games last Friday, you can check out the hi-lites online at www.kxii.com, and clicking on sports...they'll be on the column on the right....And if any of you can stomach an on-air performance by me...You can either click on the McKinney North-Denison game, or the Bob Brown Interview, and them spam me about how bad I am...

Last week, we aired the Pigskin Preview... It's where we preview "Your teams in your town!"....We went around and hit about 80% of the schools in our viewing area (which is why you haven't heard from me), and intreviewed coaches and players... That's done, and now we show previews throughout the the rest of this week before Oklahoma starts football, and then I'll be back to 8hrs a night of blissful, seldomly interrupted sleep....

In case any of you are wondering (and I know none of you are) I am actually dating right now, and her name is football....HA! GOTCHA!

Really nothing else to share... It's been all work, even on my off days...Hopefully you'll see me on the Fortune 500 list soon thanks to all of the hours I'm logging.... Will be doing the Gunter/Van Alstyne game this Friday.... It'll be online Friday night....I'll be starting "Sports Overtime" the first weekend of the NFL regular season (a show I host duing football on Sunday nights after the news).... I'm holding my collective breath....

By the way, Dad's doing much better!... Mom's teaching 3 days out of the week, and I think the Grandpuppy is getting more attention from Dad now....(I know you were all worried!)

Me and Crackhead are fine.....Time to go and fill out that timecard...How many hours are in day????

Here I Am!

First off, thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers for my Dad. He's getting better little by little, and we are all humbled by your inquiries....

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL!!!!

Texas high schools with the classifications of 3A and below that didn't have spring practice last year started 2-a-days last Monday, and I've been groovin.... Van Alstyne, Gunter, and Howe were my Monday schools... Whitewright, and Tom Bean were my Tuesday Schools... and Bonham and Bells were my Wednesday schools....Great to get out there, and see those coaches again.... Everyone is optimistic, and it's a good time of year....

Speaking of optimism, OU Football Fan Day is tomorrow, and I'm heading up there to try to corner Jason White and Bob Stoops, and not sound like a fan when interviewing them (hey, we can all dream)... Anyhoo, maybe I can find an over the top fan to go nuts, and make a morning feature to go along with the OU "Here we Go" piece.... Wanna corner Dusty Dvoracek and find out what it's like to be an all-out stud....Will probably get Jowan Poteat though, since he's from the viewing area, and see what he's all about this year.....

The car hunt is steady....Hope to have new on that within the next month.....(fingers crossed)...

Went without sunblock last week, and got damn burned.... Bought 50 sunblock, and shouldn't have that prollem again....

Raring and ready for a full week of football.... Oklahoma 2-a-days start Tuesday, so I will probably goto Ardmore, and talk with Coach Lloyd... See how his golf game improved in the offseason, and how he'll replace 11 on defense....OUCH!
